It has been reported that Moammar Gadhafi has been captured and killed, in his hometown of Sirte, by rebel soldiers. Reports indicate that he died of leg wounds inflicted by gunfire while rebel forces stormed his complex. For more details please head on over to ABC News or Reuters.

From TDW: "Democratic Wisconsin State Assembly members erupt in chants of “shame” after their Republican colleagues quickly moved to end debate on Gov. Scott Walker’s controversial budget bill, and voted to approve it within a matter of seconds. According to WTMJ, the vote happened so fast that several stunned Democrats didn’t get a chance to vote. The bill now moves on to the Senate, though it is unclear when it will be voted on as Senate Democrats have absconded to Illinois in order to prevent the measure from passing."

Not So Awesome Hostage Situation

The Panama City, Florida School Board was held hostage yesterday by a man by the name of Clay Duke. He hailed himself and "freedom fighter" and then proceeded to take a shot at each member of the board. Amazingly no one on the board was hurt. Luckily there happened to be a retired police officer on the premises and he was able to wound Mr. Clay through an exchange of gunfire. Mr. Clay then shot himself shortly there after.
